A wonderful English late Georgian period cast iron door stop or porter. Height one foot. Weight 5.5 kg. Depicting a Lion suddenly emerging from cover with its curled tail rising above acting as the door stop handle. In good completely untouched original condition with remnants of early paint work. Well cast with good detailing & a sense of movement. Displays beautifully. A joy to own, use & enjoy. Sale includes delivery within the United Kingdom.
