Item Details

A Georgian period Norwich General Assurance lead fire mark. Approximately 9.5 inches x 7 inches. Faint policy number, possibly 965? By repute this was removed from a damaged building in London shortly after the end of world war two. It has not been cleaned, it does have a build up of white lead carbonate from being outside in the elements, but would polish up quite easily. This lead fire mark could become an interesting feature on the outside wall of your Georgian home, or an interesting interior piece. Sale includes UK delivery.
