Item Details

A George III period lead water pump head & spout. Circa 1800. Overall height including the stand pipe is 22 inches. Total weight is 20 kg. The hopper head itself is 9" W 7.5" H & 5.5" in depth projection. The spout projects 6" with a diameter of 2.5". Historical every day working knocks, marks, damage etc. Original old flaky paint to the hopper head. There is a decorative thistle leaf detail to the top of the hopper head & roundel reliefs either side of the spout. You could use this in the garden repurposed into a water feature running into an old stone trough or lead cistern, or you could of course just plant the hopper head up with trailing plants.
