Idyllic landscape scene oil painting on canvas with a board backing, unframed. View over the river witham looking east with Lincoln Cathedral in the distance. Undated but dates to circa 1930 & was painted by Stephen Bullock 1889 - 1971. Signed lower right corner.


Size: 22.5 inches x 19.5 inches


Stephen Bullock. Born in Salisbury, Wiltshire in 1889. He studied art under Austin Garland at Lincoln school of art. Showed at Foyles gallery & Usher gallery. Paintings of his crop up from time to time, most of scenes in and around Lincoln. We bought this one off one of his relatives.
