Well this will certainly add sunshine to any gloomy day! This is an original English 1950s candlewick bedspread in a pale buttercup yellow. (Not as bright as the photos, it's cheerful but not alarming!!)


Freshly laundered, dried in this beautiful sunny weather and ready for use. Unusually for a piece of this age it is king size (hurrah!) and is made for a 150 cm/5ft bed.


As far as I can see there is no damage at all, it is in excellent condition. I thought there were two very small pale marks which had remained after I washed this but I can't find them. They are very small and pale.


The drape around three sides is 40 cm long (16 inches) and there is also a 10 cm hem (4 inches), it would be easy to let it down if required. The top edge is plain.
