Item Description
Another lovely hand made American quilt, dating to 1910 and made in Kentucky for the mother of a now very elderly lady. Stylish design with traditional T-square pattern, all entirely hand quilted and hand stitched.
I have carefully hand washed this piece and it has responded well, it's now fresh and ready for use. Some little sections have worn through as shown but it's mostly just the pale beige pieces and the quilt itself feels sturdy. I love the deep egg yolk yellow sections and would happily just put it straight on our bed!
