I have just finished laundering this beautiful piece and I have to say, it is wonderful. It is a large beautiful vintage French linen tablecloth with elaborate hand worked decoration. A central lace piece is surrounded by intricately work cutwork decoration, further inset lace and bordered by a ladder hem on all four sides; it's a fabulous thing!


This is a real heirloom piece but certainly one to be used, it will add such an elegant touch to any decor.


This will make quite a statement tablecloth for a wedding banquet or special celebration but would also make a beautiful bed cover or curtain.


In excellent vintage condition. Freshly laundered and ready for use. One tiny snag with a little patch behind it, as shown. As far as I can see, nothing further to mention. Colour is antique white (a soft white with a very very pale grey tone).


(As always with an antique or vintage piece, there may be a tiny little nick or imperfection that we haven't spotted but if that is the case it will be really small.)
