Item Details

A hand made bedspread was once an essential part of a young French girl's trousseau. They are not easy to find these days and this one is charming. A finer weight white cotton knitted piece with three dimensions bobbles and fluted central designs.


It is quite old although generally in good condition. One end has been shortened or perhaps never finished? And the edging at the bottom starts to go around the side a tiny way - just a part of its history.


Very light damage but nothing bad. A couple of small marks, again, nothing bad.


It's very attractive and a charming home made piece.
