Oh my goodness, this is amazing stuff, the linen is thick and tightly woven - you'll never find anything like this in a modern fabric. It has an interesting weave that would be lovely to use for upholstery - this is really great fabric and is best part of 100 years old. Very wide, very long and very heavy - it weighs 3kg!

Totally unused, never laundered, dating to between the wars, 1920s or 30s. It is just as it was folded when it was cut from the bolt, I doubt it had even been unfolded until I found it.

This fabulous piece has been well stored and has very few marks. It could be used as is, or can be given a good soak and a few washes to remove the sizing and soften it up a little.

Colour is currently a cool stony-beige (a little darker than the photos show). This will lighten as it is laundered and it'll become a cooler putty-beige shade.
