Item Description
Such a simple but stunning sheet. Dating to the early 1900s and made using two narrow lengths of weighty pure linen, joined with a beautifully smooth, flat centre seam. Decorated with a very stylish MA monogram set in the centre above a wide drawn thread hem which will have taken many many hours to create. And all of this can be yours to sleep under on a hot summer night - how lucky are we to benefit from these amazing heirloom pieces.
Barely used and in excellent condition. No real marks to speak of - some tiny tiny pink flecks around the monogram which I think you can make out in the photos. It will just want a little freshen up in the machine before it goes on a bed. If you want to use it as a curtain I think it's ready to go.
This sheet weighs just over 2.6 kg - where will you find quality like this nowadays?
