This 1970s artisan cuff combines sculptural brass and copper-toned metalwork with a large domed amber-red glass cabochon.


The asymmetrical openwork construction has an organic, almost biomorphic quality, with sinuous bands of metal wrapping around the wrist and framing the glowing glass centrepiece. Its hand-worked appearance and deliberately irregular surface give it the character of studio jewellery rather than mass-produced costume jewellery.


Signed “Demarche” to the reverse.
