Item Description
This is a wonderful shrine, from the region of Gujurat in India. It has been hand painted and is still in very good condition.
This beautiful Indian shrine is early 19th century and has stunning hand carved details throughout the piece. It has kept its authentic beauty through the deep red paintwork. The shrine would not have originally had mirrored glass in it but it only adds to its charm now.
This gorgeous shrine will have been used to house the family's favourite deity in a Hindu household. Now, over here in the West, it would look great in a bathroom or bedroom.
Dimensions: H - 87cm, W - 61cm, D - 30cm.
