Item Description
Here we have a hand-carved late 19th century traditional wooden Indian Bowl, with repousse details on the inside, it truly is one of a kind. We believe this bowl originated from Gujarati region in Western India where it will have been used to make offerings to the Gods.
The bowl is made from one solid piece of hand-carved teak with white metal repousse on the inside. The repousse consists of typical Indian patterns, such as the lotus flower and paisley. It's a beautiful thing.
Nowadays it would like great on a wall, or as a fruit bowl or bathroom organiser.
The dimensions of the bowl are as follows:- diameter - 37.3cm, height - 9cm.
