Item Description
This absolutely stunning table originated in the Qing dynasty and is made from from elm and a mixture of other Chinese soft woods. The height of the table is what makes it so unique; it stands very tall, making it a perfect table to sit behind a sofa and showcase domestic items. It still holds traces of its original lacquer and has beautiful hand-carvings which can be seen throughout the piece. Specifically there are carvings of flowers which, in Chinese culture, represent beauty and prosperity.
