Item Details

A 19th century, French copper mould. This is marked “TROTTIER FNT. PARIS 2” and it dates from c.1890. The design resembles a large, stylised flower and the form of the mould is quite shallow so it displays very well when hanging on a wall. It would possibly have been used for a small cake or as part of a more elaborate table centrepiece. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 16cm. Depth 6.4cm.
