Item Details

An eighteenth century Delft plate decorated in manganese with a garden landscape surrounded by a border of stylised flowers. This is Dutch and it dates from c.1760. The design is naive in style and influenced by the Oriental designs which were popular at the time. The plate has a small chip on the rim and there is wear to the glaze, also on the rim.
Dimensions: Diameter 23.2cm. Depth 2.8cm.
