Item Details

An eighteenth century, Dutch Delft tile. This is naively painted, in shades of blue, with a bird coming to land at the water side. There is some chipping to the glaze, on the rim of the tile, and this can be seen in the image. This is quite normal and acceptable due to the soft nature of the tin glaze.
Dimensions: 13cm. square by 0.7cm. thick.
