Item Details

An 18th century, Fresh copper jug of baluster form. This is well made, from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper, and it is most unusual in that it has a heavy brass base which is inset. This makes it very stable. The jug has castellated seams and a simple, flat, strap handle. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Height 24.9cm. Diameter 16.5cm. Width 23.5cm.
