Item Details

A lovely quality, 18th century, pierced creamware basket and stand. These are finely potted, most probably made by the Leeds pottery, and date from c.1780. The basket, and the border to the stand, are moulded with arcaded shapes, and the rims are delicately pierced with a beautiful, geometric design. The stand is in excellent condition but there is a hairline crack in the rim, which can be seen in the images.
Overall dimensions with the basket on the stand: Length 25.2cm. Width18.5cm. Height 13.2cm.
