A superb quality Wedgwood and Bentley, dark blue jasper dip plaque. This is marked “Wedgwood & Bentley” and it dates from c.1775. It is decorated, in white relief with a winged figure, in front of a column, writing on an oval plaque. The relief is fabulous quality and the jasper has a lovely smooth, soapy texture. This is what one would expect from a piece of this period. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 8.2cm. Width 6.7cm. Depth 0.5cm.
