Item Details

A late nineteenth century, brass chimney crane. This type of adjustable bracket was used for hanging a pan or kettle over a fire. This example is quite simple but one end of the bracket is shaped to resemble a foot. It is English, it dates from c.1890, and it is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length when at shortest setting 24cm. Length when fully stretched 38cm. Width 6.8cm.
