Item Details

A nineteenth century, English copper coffee, or chocolate, pot. This is well made, from quite a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1860. It has a castellated seam up the side, a rolled seam around the base and a rolled rim. There is a small, mushroom shaped finial to the lid and a nicely shaped copper fitting to the turned wooden handle. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn so it could no longer be used.
Dimensions: Height 24cm. Length (including the wooden handle) 31.5cm. Width (including the spout) 21cm.
