Item Details

A nice quality, 19th century, French copper colander. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it has a simple steel fitting to the well turned, fruitwood handle. It dates from c.1860. There are a couple of quite large cracks to the wooden handle, which can be seen in the images, but otherwise the piece is in very good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter of colander 21cm. Depth of colander 8cm. Overall length including the handle 40cm.
