Item Details

A late 19th century, wooden plumbers tool. This is turned from lignum vitae and dates from c.1890. It would have been used for spreading a lead pipe in order to create a join. The wood has a beautiful grain and fabulous patina and the piece is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 22.5cm. Diameter 8.5cm.
