Item Details

A good quality, 19th century, English copper, adjustable hanging bracket. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It would have been used, above an open fire or a range, to hang a pan, and this could then be moved closer to or further from the heat. It is in excellent condition.
It adjusts from 23m. to 35cm. long. Width 2.2cm. Depth 6cm.
