Item Details

A late nineteenth century, beechwood breadboard carved with “Our Daily Bread”. This dates from c.1890. The wording is carved in a Gothic script and the remainder of the border is carved with long leaves and a ribbon. The board is in very good condition, with just the usual knife marks to the face from use, and the wood has a nice patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 30cm. Depth 2cm.
