A large, 19th century butter print carved with a wheatsheaf. This is well carved in beechwood. It is English and it dates from c.1880. The design is quite deep and very well detailed and would leave a good impression. There are a couple of very small chips to the rim of the print but otherwise it is in very good condition. The wood has a lovely, pale patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 9.2cm. Length of print and handle 12.5cm.
