Item Details

A 19th century butter print carved with two thistles. This is carved in beechwood, it is English and it dates from c.1860. The carving is well detailed but it is now quite worn with use. There are also a number of fine, captive cracks in the face of the print, where the wood has dried out over the years.
Dimensions: Diameter 9.6cm. Length 9.2cm.
