https://www.thehoarde.com/dealers/appleby-antiquesA late 19th century, English copper mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number “33”. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart. The mould is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. The design consists of a stylised flower, to the oval top, above fluted sides. There are a couple of very tiny dents to the side but generally it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
