Item Description
A good quality, 19th century, copper jelly mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above a pattern number 631. To the opposite end is a workman’s mark in the shape of a radiating sun. The design consists of a chain link top above eight wide columns. This design works equally well whether hanging on a wall or standing on a shelf. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and dates from c.1870. It is in excellent condition, but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Length 18.3cm. Width 12.4cm. Height 6.9cm.
