Item Details

A Victorian copper, fancy border, ring mould. This is marked with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number “490”. To the opposite side is a workman’s mark in the shape of a heart. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. The simple, column design displays well whether hanging or on a shelf. There is slight denting to the copper, from use, but otherwise it is in good condition, The tinning, to the interior, is worn so it could no longer be used.
