Item Description
An extremely bold and colourful, 18th century, Dutch Delft charger. This is marked with a monogram of the letters “APK’ which was the mark used by A Pieter Kocx from 1701 to 1722. However, this mark has been copied over quite a long period of time and I believe this charger to date from c.1780. It is beautifully decorated, in polychrome glazes, with a bird on a branch and it has a geometric border which shows the oriental influence. The charger is in excellent condition, with just slight wear to the glaze on the rim.
Dimensions: Diameter 35cm. Depth 5.9cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £40. Most of Western Europe add £20.
