Item Description
A nineteenth century, brass, cruciform pastry tool with a turned wooden handle. To the end this has a heavy, cast brass wheel for trimming the edge of a pie and to the sides are decorative stamps, one circular and one square. The handle is turned from beechwood. Originally there would have been a small, brass ring in the end of the handle but this is now missing. Otherwise it is in very good condition. It dates from c.1880.
Dimensions: Length 23.5cm. Width 8.2cm. Diameter of handle 3.2cm.
