Item Details

A nineteenth century, brass, cruciform pastry tool. This is English and it dates from c.1870. It has a heavy brass wheel to the top, which would have been used for trimming the rim of a pie, and there are shaped markers on the sides, for putting a design into the pastry. It is cast in brass and has a turned oak handle. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 25cm. Width 8.3cm. Diameter of handle 3.2cm.
