Item Details

A blue and white, transfer printed butter dish with a carved oak surround. This is English and it dates from c.1920. The dish is transfer printed in blue with a version of the willow pattern. It has a printed mark to the base which is a monogram beneath a crown. The oak surround is very well carved with the word “BUTTER” , flowers and foliage. The carving has good depth and detail. Both the dish and surround are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 16cm. Depth 2.5cm
