Item Details

A small, 19th century butter print carved with acorns and oak leaves. This is well carved in beechwood but the wood is now quite dark where it has become stained over the years. It is English and it dates from c.1860. There are a number of splits in the rim of the print and the handle is also quite badly split. There are also a number of woodworm holes which have now been treated. All of this can be seen in the images.
Dimensions: Diameter 7.4cm. Length of print and handle 8cm.
