Item Details

A nineteenth century, green majolica glazed comport. This is marked with “COPELAND” and it dates from c.1860. It is also impressed with a letter “B” which could be a workman’s mark. The top of the comport is moulded with three large leaves and there are three small, twig form handles. The foot is also moulded with leaf forms and the piece is then covered in a rich, green majolica glaze. It is in excellent condition.
