Item Details

A nineteenth century, shallow copper ring mould. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it is English and it dates from c.1880. It is marked with a pattern number “222”, and nicely engraved with the initials “W.W” which would be the initials of a previous owner. The design is very simple, consisting of twenty narrow, angular columns. There are a couple of small dents to the side of the mould an the shape is now out of the round. The tinning to the interior is worn.
