Item Details

Half of a two part copper ice or nougat mould. This is French and it dates from c.1880. Originally, when the two parts were together, it would have been used for making a three dimensional swan from ice, or nougat. It is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper, and it is well detailed, but now it is purely decorative. It is in excellent condition.
