Item Details

An unusual, French copper, three part hinged pie mould in the shape of an urn. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1860. It is typically the shape of a garden urn with a pedestal base and deeply moulded beading. We have never seen a pie mould in this shape before and it possibly had a specific use. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 13.3cm. Height 10cm.
