Item Details

A good quality, 19th century, English copper fancy border mould. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper. It is marked “SMITH & MATTHEWS 6 HIGH ST. BLOOMSBURY W.C” and it dates from c.1870. It is also marked with a pattern number “308” and the initials “M.T” which would be the initials of a previous owner. The design looks like a crown with alternating rounded topped and pointy topped columns. It is own excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, usable condition.
Dimensions: Height 6.4cm. Diameter 6.9cm.
