Item Details
A good quality, Victorian copper mould with a wheatsheaf to the top. This is marked with a pattern number ’70’ and is made by Benham. Although it does not have a Benham’s mark this is the pattern number that Benhams used for this design. The design is very well modelled and the mould is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper. It dates from c.1870 and it is in very good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
