Item Details

A very well carved, 19th century sycamore breadboard. This is English and it dates from c.1870. The border is very deeply carved with various flowers, leaves and wheat against a stipple background. The carving has lovely detail. The board is in very good condition with just slight wear to the carving and knife marks to the face of the board, from use.
Dimensions: Diameter 28.8cm. Depth 1.8cm.
