Item Details

A nineteenth century beechwood breadboard with a deeply carved border. This is carved with four stylised flowers divided by leaves. It is English and it dates from c.1880. There is wear to the border and there are the usual knife marks to both the face and the reverse of the board, from use. The wood has quite a rich patina.
Dimensions: Diameter 28cm. Depth 3cm.
