Item Details

An eighteenth century, polychrome, Dutch Delft plate. This is quite lightly potted and it dates from c.1760. It is decorated, in shades of blue, green, iron red, manganese and ochre, with an urn full of flowers. To the rim is a border of plants and weirdly stylised insects. There are two rim chips and the usual wear to the glaze which one would expect on a piece of 18th century Delft.
