A 19th century, green majolica glazed plate. This bears no manufacturers marks but it is English and it dates from c.1820. It is nicely moulded, with a stylised leaf design, and the serrated rim follows the shapes of the leaves. The design is covered in a mid green, majolica glaze. There is rubbing to the glaze, on the serrated rim of the plate, and there is also slight rubbing to a couple of the high points in the moulding.
Dimensions: Diameter 20.9cm. Depth 2cm.
