Item Description
A small pair of Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip candlesticks. These are marked “WEDGWOOD” and they date from c.1820. They are also impressed with a letter “M” and a cross. The relief decoration is quite delightful, with laurel leaves spiralling up the columns, anthemium around the bases and small, stylised flowers around the top. The reliefs are all very good quality and the jasper dip is a lovely, rich shade of blue. There are a couple of tiny, pale patches where the dip has not covered fully but there is no damage to the candlesticks. They are both in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 10cm. Diameter at the foot 7.8cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
