Item Details

A nineteenth century, earthenware jelly mould with a chicken to the base. This is English and dates from c.1860. The chicken, which stands on a grassy base, is well detailed and is surrounded by a wrythen, fluted border. There is a chip to the underside of the foot rim, which does not affect the usability of the mould, but otherwise it is in very good condition and would turn out well.
