A nice quality, Wedgwood black basalt vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. This elegant shape of vase, with the engine turned design to the body, was first illustrated in Wedgwood’s 18th century pattern catalogues and was produced throughout the 19th century. This piece is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 14cm. Diameter 7.6cm.
