A beautifully engine turned, Wedgwood black basalt vase. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also incised “D.E.M.C. 8/11/22”. These vases were made for the Wedgwood museum and this one was made on the 8th of November 1922. It is decorated with four very different bands of engine turned design which is extremely good quality. The vase is in excellent condition.
